Creative Vegetable Gardening

Meadow Brook Garden Club presents guest speaker Art Cameron, PhD. Dr. Cameron is a Professor of Horticulture at Michigan State University, Director of the MSU Horticulture Gardens and an avid botanist and gardener. He will give tricks that can make vegetable gardening more fun and productive. He will cover bed preparation, watering systems, pest management and weed control among other topics. Tips for harvesting, storing and cooking vegetables will also be shared. Coffee and refreshments will be served at 9:15 a.m. with program to follow at 10:00 a.m. Guests are welcome and reservations are not required.
