Daniel G. Cohen
Employment Law Attorney and Partner

Daniel Cohen has focused exclusively on representing employers in labor and employment law since 1988. He advises human resource professionals on workplace policies and compliance, with an emphasis on litigation avoidance, wage and hour issues, workplace violence prevention, affirmative action, and labor relations. Daniel has extensive experience litigating in state and federal courts, as well as before the National Labor Relations Board and the Michigan Employment Relations Commission.

He regularly handles class and collective actions, enforces restrictive covenants, manages labor grievances in arbitration, and negotiates collective bargaining agreements. Daniel has consulted on numerous union election campaigns—including for Michigan State District Courts—and served as lead strategist in several large-scale strikes, including regional and national actions.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Daniel was a founding principal of a well-regarded boutique labor and employment law firm for more than 16 years. Several of his cases have resulted in published or notable court decisions.

Refund & Registration Policy 
Payment is considered final, and non-refundable, unless there is a quality issue that cannot be otherwise addressed. Registration for all events, programs and membership is considered complete upon full payment.  An invoice payment option will be available on most events until 14 days prior to the event date. Cash and credit cards are always accepted. A confirmation will be sent for all transactions with the Auburn Hills Chamber.
