Dr. Elaine Carey, professor and dean of Oakland University’s College of Arts and Sciences has been elected to serve on the board of directors for Higher Education Resource Services (HERS). Founded in 1972, HERS is a leadership development organization dedicated to building and sustaining a dynamic network of women and gender-diverse leaders in higher education.
